Well back again, but only for a short while I have family staying for the week (again!).  

I have been working away on various things since my last blog.  The grandchildren had me making soft toys when they stayed for the two weeks.  Some old toy making books were dragged out of the cupboard and I think they would have had me making everything in them if I had had time.  I must admit I thoroughly enjoyed making things and want to do more.  

Looking at on line stores selling fabric makes me want to start sewing again the fabrics are wonderful , may start with some fat quarters and try patchwork again. Having the sewing machine out has also encouraged me to use more sewing in my card making.  Must try using fabric on the cards too!

The wedding stationery I have been working on has now been finished, and I was asked to do a Table Plan.  The plan is nearly finished but disaster struck with the printer again last week, it is back on Tuesday lets hope it has been put right this time.

It's competition time again with all the craft mags running cardmaker of the year etc.  trying to get some cards made to enter (won a category last year) but it is going slowly and time is short, maybe it will have to wait until next year.

The family have found me hiding in my craft room, hope to be back soon with some ideas for sewing, fabric and cards.

Well at last finished the craft room clear out.  Everything is in its rightful place, I have created a listso I can check  where I have put everything, now just to type it out and keep it on the computer (bet I still can't find what I'm looking for!).  The test will come in two weeks time when I start designing my Christmas cards

It's been a quiet weekend otherwise, the grandchildren are coming tomorrow apparently they are very excited I hope they calm down by tomorrow.

Sophie is looking forward to getting her frame I made her, she insists she wants the pink one, hope Evie likes the blue one or I will have to make another at least it will keep them occupied (as long as I can keep them away from my cutting machine that is).

Still have a birthday card for next month to finish I will do that tonight whilst watching TV.

Just a sweet card for a little girl

Took time out today to make another frame for my other granddaughter coming at the weekend, the frames are both different so I hope we have no falling out over them.  I only have some rhinestones to stick on to enhance the flowers I added then they are finished.

Just been baking some muffins to use up the fruit left in the fruit bowl, they smell great I think it is time to make a cup of tea!

Will blog again when I have time, The kids will be keeping me busy for the next week, I will certainly be getting them crafting, they love it.

Busy week, dentist, hairdresser visit relatives, grand kids for next two weeks.

There will not be much crafting going on over the next few weeks, today I have to sort out the craft room which is the spare room for the kids.  I hate putting everything away especially as I am only half way through sorting all my stash out.  If I am lucky I will be able to make a list of where everything is kept before the weekend comes.

I made a cute picture frame for my granddaughter  yesterday.  She had been ill over the weekend and I thought it would cheer her up when she comes to stay.  I did promise her I would make her something with some free Tatty Bear chipboard shapes I had.

A Little Gift for Sophie

Busy day today, my items on e-bay ended so I have spent the afternoon packing ready for posting on Monday.  The problem was not having a printer (mine being out of ink due to having to return faulty cartridges).  The good thing about clearing out your craft room is you find things you had forgotten about.  The typewriter, from 25 years ago had been very handy for labels and small notes.

Although I have sorted quite a few things onto e-Bay, I looked in a draw this afternoon and found more things I need to get rid of.  Its amazing how much clutter you collect over the years, and keep adding to.

Sunday will be another sorting out day, a bit of photography if the weather is OK and hopefully tidy everything away leaving my craft room neat and tidy (I wish!).

Disaster struck today, I ordered new cartridges for my laser printer this week and when I put the black into the printer it was faulty.  No printing for a while until I get a refund and some new cartridges.

The up-side is I have a little more time to continue sorting out my craft room.  I started making a note of all the ready made cards I have accumulated and put a few for sale on the Crafty Bob Site.  It is a bit slow going as photographing the cards isn't easy in this dark dismal weather without a light box.

Did one or two this morning, may not be good but at least I have a photo to tally with my records.

Friday tomorrow then a free weekend without visitors, well no one has mentioned coming for the weekend yet!

Busy day today, not much crafting going on.  Sorted through a box of my cards ready for photographing.  If the weather does not brighten up I don't think I will be able to get any decent images.  Tried to photograph my inchies cards but not happy with the results.

Spent today working on my Anniversary cards, very pleased with the results.  I have used different colour schemes for each month to reflect the season.

Today I am branching out, you can now find some of my cards for sale at The Crafty Bob Marketplace.  I will be spending the day adding a few items to see how it all works.  Have placed some Gift Bags on there but want to post some of my recent card designs too. 

The mermaid Gift Bag is one of the items on the site, these bags are lovely for small presents like jewellery.

Have some great ideas for new projects, and will have to start thinking about Christmas, seems a shame we have not had any Summer yet!

Today I sorted out my craft room, found lots of things I had forgotten about, so will be creating this coming week with the stash I found hidden in boxes.
